Here is my professional checklist to ensure your "Yes" moment is as stress-free and magical as you’ve always imagined.
1. Choose Your Vibe (Location is Key)
Paris offers a backdrop for every personality, but remember: Paris is so much more than just the Eiffel Tower. While the "Iron Lady" is iconic, the city is filled with architectural wonders and intimate corners that might fit your story even better.
The Classics: The power of the Eiffel Tower, the artistic soul of Montmartre, or the intimate charm of the Seine riverside.
The Hidden Gems: If you prefer something quiet and away from the crowds, we can look for a beautiful Haussmann-style street, a secluded garden, or a historic bridge with stunning architectural lines.

2. Timing is Everything: The Sunrise Secret
The best way to avoid crowds and get that soft, ethereal light is to propose at Sunrise.
The Parisian Quiet: Between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, the city is waking up. You’ll have the most famous spots almost entirely to yourselves, making the proposal feel much more private, sacred, and romantic.
3. Choosing Your "Surprise Strategy"
To keep the moment a total secret, you need a solid plan. Over the years, I’ve developed two main strategies that work perfectly:
Option A: The "Cover Story" Photoshoot. Tell your partner you’ve booked a professional couple’s session as a special gift or a vacation souvenir (just like Alexandre did for Valeria!). This ensures you both look your best, you're already in a beautiful location, and I am right there with my camera ready when you drop to one knee. She’ll never suspect a thing until the ring comes out!
Option B: The "Secret Paparazzi" Encounter. If you want it to be a 100% total surprise where she doesn't even know a photographer is there, this is for you. I can be "incognito" nearby, or I can even "pop in" and politely ask to take a quick photo of you two with my professional camera. I’ll offer to show you the result, and that’s your cue! Believe me, she will never guess it’s a setup. We chose this strategy for Victor and Olenka’s proposal, and it turned out perfectly.
4. Coordination & The Secret Signal
Once we choose the strategy, we will coordinate the "Safe Spot." I’ll send you a photo of exactly where to stand for the best light and background.
The Signal: We will agree on a secret signal—a specific phrase or a gentle tap on the shoulder—so I know exactly when to start capturing the sequence. This ensures I’m in position to get the raw emotion of the "Yes!" from the best angle.
5. Embrace the Elements (Rain or Shine)
Parisian weather can be unpredictable, but don't let it worry you. If it rains, we pivot!
The Solution: We can use the elegant shelters of bridges like Bir-Hakeim or use transparent umbrellas that look incredibly cinematic in photos. Remember Andria & Constantino? Their rainy session became one of my most dreamy galleries ever.
6. The Celebration After
The proposal is just the beginning. Plan for a celebratory breakfast at a classic café or a champagne toast to soak in the "just engaged" glow. I’ll keep snapping photos for a few minutes after the proposal to capture those first ecstatic smiles as a newly engaged couple.
